Kento Kato is one of sup’s Co-Founders and CMO, where he focuses on the development and implementation of the company’s marketing strategies. Kento was born in Japan but moved to New York when was five years old, where he’s lived ever since. He attended New York University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management.
As one of the co-founders of sup, Mr. Kato says he “wears multiple hats.” “While my main focus is on the marketing side of things, I’d like to do as much as I can to make sure things are running smoothly and that the company is headed towards the direction we envisioned when we came up with this idea. I want sup to be a place where people from all backgrounds can come for different needs. Shopping, advice, different services, or just a place for people to share opinions and be there for each other. I hope to help make sup a brand that not only claims to be for social justice but goes out and does things that make the world a more equitable place.”
