Raised in Toronto, Canada, Enna Selmanovic, sup’s Head of Research, Development & Innovation moved to the United States to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology at the University of Cincinnati. While there she helped to tackle mental health barriers (particularly those surrounding minority or other under-represented groups) within the NCAA through the development of mandates and legislation. Upon graduating she began a career in brain injury research, leading to her current pursuit of a PhD at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Enna calls upon her rigorous and structured science background to unite disparate schools of science through an interdisciplinary approach. This enables her to generate meticulous data evaluations that inform sup’s pursuits of innovation, transparency, and efficient problem solving. This work also helps sup expand its reach and, therefore, its impact.
